We think disease is caused by things like microorganisms, eating too much sugar, or the bad genes we inherit.

Those things may play a role in disease, but the root cause of all disease is stress.

Childhood trauma, stressful events, having a job you hate, being in a relationship where you feel unsupported, traffic…are the real beginnings of disease whether it’s diabetes, heart disease, autoimmune, or even depression and anxiety.

Stress causes a rise in the hormone cortisol and cortisol affects other hormones, histamine release, gut function, neurotransmitters, metabolism, and mineral balance and all these lead to physical symptoms.

What conventional medicine doesn’t realize is that stress also causes us to believe and feel things that may or may not be true.

Most of the time, we are unaware of these beliefs and feelings because they are subconscious.

They can even be beliefs and feelings passed down from our ancestor’s stress, so they aren’t always our beliefs and feelings.

When a woman is pregnant, her grandchild is in her belly as an egg in the baby she is carrying.

Three generations are held in one body.

What do these beliefs and feelings do?

They determine where symptoms show up in the body. The reason we have so many labels for disease is because we all have different subconscious beliefs and feelings and stress experiences.

For example, many women experience disease in the reproductive system whether it’s fibroids, endometriosis, cancer, infertility, or cysts. Stress will cause the physical symptoms, but if a woman feels rejected, that can cause the symptoms to show up in that area of the body.

If the beliefs surrounding the feelings of rejection are not dealt with, healing is going to be a long and difficult road.

In order to heal, you have to:
1. Manage stress – breathwork, meditation, spending time outdoors, saying no…
2. Mitigate the physical effects of stress – diet, supplements, lifestyle habits…
3. Change the underlying beliefs and feelings – energy healing, affirmations

When I see someone who has “done all the things” but still feels like crap, I find it is their subconscious beliefs and feelings that are holding the symptoms in the body. Once those beliefs and feelings are released, the body heals.

So, in a sense, disease is all in your head. But, not in the kind of way where you just have to suck it up and act like nothing is wrong. There is actually something wrong, but it’s not you and you are not imagining things.

It’s your subconscious brain trying to protect you. And thank goodness we have a subconscious brain that keeps us safe when a stranger asks us to get in the car. We need our subconscious brain, but we need our conscious brain to inform the subconscious brain about what really is and is not a threat.

This is where energy healing comes in. We can eat the right foods, take the right supplements, get plenty of sleep, and enjoy the outdoors, but we also need to make sure our beliefs and feelings are in line with the truth.

Energy healing helps our subconscious brain align with the truth so we can heal fully.

There are lots of energy healing modalities available today like Emotional Freedom Technique, Splankna, Reiki, and more. My favorite modality is ThetaHealing.

With ThetaHealing we can muscle test for beliefs and discover where they originated, clear beliefs that don’t serve us and add beliefs that support us. It’s a simple way to change your mind and heal your body.

The ThetaHealer goes straight to God or The Creator Of All That Is for the healing and the person receiving the healing has absolutely nothing to do accept say yes to the healing. No reliving any trauma. Beliefs are changed on a cellular level and they are changed for all future generations.

If you are struggling with a health issue and healing seems elusive, you might want to give ThetaHealing a try. You can learn more about ThetaHealing at https://www.thetahealing.com/.
